Rumba Meats® Thin-Sliced Beef Round Steak

  1. Season beef round steak slices lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. Combine egg and milk in a shallow dish, such as a pie pan, and lightly beat to blend. Place breadcrumbs in shallow dish.
  3. Dip each steak slice in the egg mixture, drain excess. Dredge in breadcrumbs, shake excess. Place breaded slices on a baking sheet.
  4. Preheat skillet over medium-high heat; add ½ cup oil and heat. Working in batches, add breaded steak slices to hot oil and pan fry for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and fully cooked. Do not overcrowd pan. Transfer steaks to a plate lined with paper towels. Repeat with remaining breaded steak slices, adding more oil as needed. Keep warm.
  5. Delicious served with fried potatoes and a simple green salad topped with sliced onion, cucumber and tomato drizzled with vinaigrette, if desired.
